Non-Denominational Christmas Service

With the festive season fast approaching, the Guenette Funeral Home realizes that for families who have experienced a death, they will be facing Christmas without their loved one for the first time. This can be a difficult adjustment for many.

With this in mind, we would like to help you make this adjustment by holding a brief non-denominational service in honour of your loved ones on Monday, November 27th at 7:30 p.m.

We invite you to bring an ornament to be placed in the “Tree of Memories” as a symbolic gesture for all those who won’t be celebrating Christmas this year. The tree of memories will remain present throughout the holidays in the funeral home.

We would appreciate if you could confirm your attendance to facilitate our planning. This will be our 25th year hosting this celebration and the attendance is always overwhelming. For this reason, the service will be held at the Immaculée-Conception parish hall and the tree will be transferred to the funeral home. A light lunch will be available after the service.

It is with great honour that Father Hervé Sauvé and Father Praveen will be celebrating the service with the personnel of the Guenette Funeral Home.

If you are unable to attend but would like to have an ornament placed in the tree, please contact us and we will gladly make arrangements to have it placed for you.

We extend a warm welcome to all bereaved families to attend. The staff at the Guenette Funeral Home hopes that this can bring a little more comfort to your holiday season.
