Korean veteran Donald E. Griffith, 78, of Weedsport, passed on to a better place on Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Born in Syracuse on Friday, July 8, 1932, he was the son of Francis E. Griffith and Mary Agnes Halpin Griffith.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, the former Jo-Ann Miller; sons, Donald Jr. and Daniel of Syracuse, David and Douglas of Marcellus; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Don will be missed by all.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, August 5 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

Services will be private. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
