Rochester:
Loving, gracious, genteel, mother and grandmother on January 22, 2014, age 83.
Predeceased by her husband, Frank W. Breslin, her parents, Lillian and Woody Relyea.
Survived by her children, Stephen (Mary) Halik of Oregon, David, and Fred (Cathy) Halik, Kathy (Carm) Volo; grandchildren, Michael and Brian Halik, Chris and Sara Volo; great grandson, Dillon; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dr. Frederick (Mildred) Halik; nieces, nephews.
Sonia was a graduate of Green Mountain College and a proud retiree of the University of Rochester Medical Center.
The family is forever grateful for the exceptional, loving, compassionate and dignified care Sonia received during her three years of residence at Cottage Grove.
No prior calling hours.
Sonia’s memorial service will be celebrated SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1 at 11AM in Summerville Presbyterian Church (4845 St. Paul Blvd.) with a reception to follow.
Inurnment private in Riverside Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Rochester Presbyterian Home (256 Thurston Rd.) for the establishment of a memorial tribute tree at the Cottage Grove residences in memory of Sonia.
